Starters 9U & 10U Spring Teams

Minnesota Starters Spring Teams are designed to provide multi-sport players with an opportunity to compete and train in a competitive and positive environment that will help prepare them for their upcoming association tryouts and summer seasons.  The Starters Spring Baseball program begins in March and runs through the end of April leading up to the Metro Baseball League's summer season.  The Spring program is for players ages 14U and younger.  Teams will consist of 12-13 players per team and will be selected by members of the Starters coaching staff after evaluations.

Starters Spring Teams are designed to allow players to play for BOTH the Starters Baseball Club and their community association team(s).

Additional Programs Available

Starters Sports Training Academy Classes

Starters Academy classes allow for flexible, easy to schedule small group classes designed to fit your schedule.  Starters Academy members will have the ability to schedule position-specific training sessions with our experienced coaching staff designed to fit their individual needs.

Jim Brower's Fundamental Arm Development Program

This is the core throwing program that is designed for BOTH pitchers and position players.  A player's arm is their #1 tool.  Quality throwing mechanics will help maintain a healthy arm which in turn allows arm strength to improve, a goal for every player. Ultimately this leads to a better baseball experience because you are playing and not recovering.

Starters Speed & Agility Classes

EVERY athlete can benefit from being faster and more agile.  The focus of our Speed & Agility classes are to teach basic body control, proper mechanics, and explosive movements to set the stage for future athletic success.  Classes are centered around agility, plyometrics, technique, and form running.
